This building houses Pinacoteca Contemporânea, the most recent of three buildings that constitute Pinacoteca de São Paulo, the state of São Paulo’s first visual arts museum, under the care of the State Department of Culture, Economy and Creative Industry.

Pina Contemporânea’s doors are open to everyone. We invite you to come in and get to know our space, with a public square for artistic and cultural activities, two galleries for exhibitions of works in large formats, studios for educational activities, and a Library of Visual Arts, in addition to a shop, auditorium, gazebo, welcoming space and a coffee shop.

You can also visit our other buildings: Pina Luz, located at 2 Praça da Luz, and Pina Estação, at 66 Largo General Osório. At Pina Luz you will have access to the Pinacoteca de São Paulo collection long-term exhibition and to temporary exhibitions. At Pina Estação, you will see exhibitions on modern and contemporary art and the São Paulo Resistance Memorial.

You can visit the three Pina buildings with just one ticket! The ticket is valid for the day of purchase and gives access to the exhibitions and installations at Pina Luz, Pina Estação and Pina Contemporânea.

Service hours:

Wednesdays through Mondays from 10 am to 6 pm; entrance is allowed until 5:30 pm.

Admission is free on Saturdays.

Transit between the Park and Pina Luz is allowed from 10 am to 5:45 pm. Parque da Luz is closed on Mondays. You should then use the special path open for circulation between Pina Luz and Pina Contemporânea. Do not go beyond the blockages and into the Park.
