Pina Luz

This building houses the Pinacoteca do Estado de São Paulo, the state of São Paulo’s first visual arts museum, under the care of the State Department of Culture, Economy and Creative Industry.

Pina’s doors are open to everyone. We invite you to come in and see paintings, sculptures, drawings and photographs by Brazilian and foreign artists from the 19th century until today. Here we also have our shop and a coffee shop.

You can also visit our other buildings: Pina Contemporânea and Pina Estação.

At Pina Contemporânea, crossing through the Praça da Luz park or entering through 273 Avenida Tiradentes, you will find exhibitions on contemporary art, recreational spaces and our Library, where you can browse publications on art in general, as well as our Documentation and Memory Center. At Pina Estação, located at 66 Largo General Osório, you will see exhibitions on modern and contemporary art and the São Paulo Resistance Memorial.

You can visit the three Pina buildings with just one ticket! The ticket is valid for the day of purchase and gives access to the exhibitions and installations at Pina Luz, Pina Estação and Pina Contemporânea.

Service hours:

Wednesdays through Mondays from 10 am to 6 pm; entrance is allowed until 5:30 pm.
